21/9 "Such Bullshit I can barely stand it"

it's a tortuous logic but one which makes sense if you're in it I imagine to hide behind wills and processes when wills and processes have , well, gone galloped off around the same time anything approaching a measured approach to history packed its bags and did one jamming a hat on its head like a husband leaving in a fifties melodrama to hold a view you know to be ruinous and keep grinning and bearing it for a higher power which to be honest probably doesn't exist but needs placating as the worst worst thing is better than the other thing which is worse than the worst worst thing as far as you're concerned because those guys like it though when your idea of the thing which is worse than the worst worst thing is simply to go hang on a second, we might be wrong it's such bullshit I can barely stand it

The criticism of the Archbishop of Canterbury came from a television presenter who I vaguely recalled as irritating. He'd been caught up in some form of fraud from a major bank. I felt sorry for him in an abstract sort of sense. But there's only so much pity to go round, and there seemed more deserving cases out there. These, however, were the news items which seemed to be top of the agenda for the day. It's kind of odd what people find interesting. The weather forecast was incorrect, by the by. It's going ...
